Travelling with weapons
Entering the country carrying weapons and ammunitions will be allowed only if the traveller notified the border police in advance and obtained the appropriate approval (in case of weapons and ammunition that do not require approval, the border police must verify the document of procurement – invoice). Leaving the country carrying weapons and ammunition is allowed only if the traveller possesses a gun permit.
Travellers that reside abroad may temporarily import a hunting weapon and ammunition for the purposes of hunting, providing that it is registered in their travel documents, otherwise they must obtain appropriate separate approval from the border police station on a separate form.
